The pilot, plainly

EcoCredit is a pilot program. Credits are game points: they have no cash value, are not a currency, cannot be purchased, sold, or transferred, and may be re-balanced or reset between pilot phases as the game economy is tuned. Energy figures shown in the app are estimates derived from detected motion — the app labels them as such — and are not utility-metered measurements.

The charitable rail

When team milestones are reached, Energy Studio intends to fund solar-light distributions through partner organizations. Funded counts shown in the app reflect purchases our team has actually confirmed. This is a good-faith program run by us — it is not a donation you make, not tax-advantaged for you, and partner availability may change.

Fair play

The game works because the numbers are honest. Attempting to generate false motion data, tamper with device clocks, or otherwise game credit minting may lead to adjusted balances or removal from the pilot. (The app's anti-gaming checks are documented behavior, not surveillance — they run on your device.)

Health and safety

EcoCredit encourages everyday walking and cycling. It is not a medical or fitness product and gives no health advice. Ride and walk only where and when it is safe and legal; never interact with the app while riding or driving.

The usual

The app and site are provided as-is during the pilot, without warranties; to the extent permitted by law our liability is limited to the amount you paid us (the pilot is free). These terms are governed by California law. If a term is unenforceable, the rest stand. Continued use after an update means acceptance; material changes will be announced in-app.
